9/14/2013 0 Comments Working TIME!Hello again. I am so happy that I can finally continue my Impermanence series. NMU is up and running for the fall 2013 semester so I can use the saws at the studio. I am currently living in Ishpeming and student teaching in Negaunee! It has been a whirlwind of a first two weeks in the middle school. I am loving every second of it. The challenge is invigorating. However, this gives me less time to create! I am squeezing in work time when ever possible. I still have my eyes on submitting my work for Artprize next year! I am really bummed that I won't get to make it this time around but soon enough my friends! Here are some pictures of my progress... This next piece is going to be horizontal. This is a giant strip of fabric that I soaked in coffee grounds. Hanging out to dry & stain. 2 (1'x1') frames and 1 (3'x1') The stitching process has begun. I changed up the style of stitching from the first Impermanence piece.
